We took a short break after our missionary training tonight and traveled to West Jordan to see Rebekah receive her Soaring Eagle Award. She was one of a select few from her school who has completed the rigorous list of requirements; it took her all year. She was very excited to get her medal tonight. It was great to see Karin and the family, but boy are we totally exhausted from sitting through meetings and practice discussions all day! We are going to miss participating in activities like these with all our grandchildren while we are in Canada, but hope to keep up with all their progress through Facebook and Skype.
